About Me

Hello there! My name is Ryan and I founded High Violet Photography back in 2015. Since doing so I’ve gone on to shoot at over 100 weddings, every one different and special in its own way. I like to take my work seriously, myself less so! I’m a photographer who will document your day rather than taking it over. I’m super laid back and chilled, and I firmly believe this is the best way to be to get amazing photos whilst having the craic! You’ll spend a good portion of your wedding day with your photographer, if you can get along with plenty of laughs then your day will be all the better for it!

My idea of wedding photography is a simple one: beautiful, modern, colourful, timeless, happy, relaxed, fuss-free and definitely not awkward! I believe that your photographs are something to enjoy rather than endure, and my style of work makes sure that we can have fun along the way.

I have a passion for photography that is totally, unashamedly, 100% real. Photographs that make you feel something when you see them, and will mean even more as the years pass. From the tears during the ceremony, to the belly laughs during speeches - I'm there to make sure you'll be able to enjoy these memories for years to come. I invest so much into every wedding I shoot, each and every one is so important to me! I'm always humbled that couples put their faith in me to document their special day, and I strive to repay that faith by giving my all to deliver something special. 

I'll stay out of your way for the most of the day, capturing the moments that might otherwise never be seen. And when you need a little gentle guidance when you don't know where to put your hands or where to look, I'll be there to keep you right. But most importantly we will have a blast - promise!
